A 19th  century Minton shallow tureen base in the Lyre pattern. Useful as serving dishes or to plant some Spring bulbs in. 

One has a chip to the back of one of the edges of the tureen, this is not visible from the front.

Hand painted in a cobalt blue & red floral design. Wear to some of painted edges, but overall in good condition.

Minton bases in Staffordshire, England was one of the most successful and well known pottery companies of its time.
